Singapore - 4 Sep 2026 — 31 year old Singaporean violinist Jocelyn announces the release of her debut original single, “The Wayfarer’s Calling,” this October, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career as an original artist.

For more than a decade, Jocelyn has built a career performing on stages in Singapore and internationally, including appearances alongside artists such as JJ Lin, Westlife, Richard Clayderman, Angela Zhang and Il Divo. She has also performed for international and luxury brands including Rolls-Royce, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chopard, Chanel and Dior. Jocelyn now embarks on a fresh creative era by unveiling her inaugural composition “The Wayfarer's Calling”, a cinematic violin work about hearing the call toward the life you’re meant to live and finding the courage to leave the familiar behind and follow it.

Blending cinematic orchestration, soaring strings, atmospheric production and intimate vocals, the single explores themes of destiny, courage, wonder and the pursuit of one's true calling. The release marks the beginning of a larger interconnected narrative that will unfold across future singles, visuals and live performances.

“‘The Wayfarer’s Calling’ is about a journey that the protagonist takes towards a metaphoric destination that is her “calling” and all the ups and downs that comes with it,” says Jocelyn. “I wanted it to inspire my listeners to keep going on their own journeys, despite the ups and downs.”

With this debut, Jocelyn transitions from celebrated performer to an original recording artist, inviting audiences into a universe where music and storytelling become one. “The Wayfarer’s Calling” is out 23rd October 2026 on all major streaming platforms.
